Hi, I am Coach Yein!
I was born and raised in Pakistan as a missionary kid for 15 years, lived in Thailand for 3 years, and have now moved to Korea to attend Korea University.
The environment I grew up in always involved sports, and playing different sports together has always been a way for me to bond with my family and friends.
In middle school, I played several sports but primarily focused on track and field and swimming. I really enjoyed competing in the South Asian Inter-Scholastic Association (SAISA) League and setting school records in high jump, long jump, and different swim strokes. In high school, I was part of the varsity girls’ soccer team and the varsity swim team. Although the pandemic limited my chances to compete in official events, playing soccer with my team and leading the swim team as captain taught me valuable lessons, helped me relieve academic stress, and allowed me to create unforgettable memories. As a high school athlete, I also had the opportunity to help coach younger students, coaching soccer to 5 to 8-year-olds and swimming to middle schoolers.
I believe sports teach invaluable life lessons, helping to develop not only physical abilities but also character. I am excited to join Triple Threat Academy and help children grow and mature through sports!
